The start of a new year is a time for reflection and renewed energy, and 2025 is no different for us at KUGO. We’re kicking things off with big plans and even bigger motivation. Our first priority? Fulfilling the orders for our amazing Kickstarter backers, the people who’ve been with us since the beginning and helped bring KUGO to life. Seeing their excitement fuels us to keep pushing forward.

Once we’ve got those packages sent off, our next mission is clear—getting KUGO into shops and online stores. The vision of our flick-based gaming kits being discovered by new players around the world is an exciting challenge we’re ready to tackle.

This year, we’re also looking forward to sharing KUGO with more people face-to-face. We’ll be at UK Games Expo and the Paradice Games Conference, setting up demos and creating memorable moments for players of all ages. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone master their first flick or build their own game on the spot.

Motivation is key to tackling a year like this, and for us, it’s about remembering why we started.

“Just don’t stop” has become our internal mantra—a reminder that making something from scratch is hard and to succeed we have to stay focused, keep improving, and never lose sight of the joy we aim to bring.
