Obliterate

Objective

The aim of the game is to be the first player to knock down all their opponents’ skittles.

Prepare the Playing Area:

1. Split your playing area into two halves by placing blocks in a line. Ensure there are gaps between the blocks.
2. Place 6 skittles at each end. You can use the diagram above as a reference or set up your playing area however you prefer.

How to Play:

1. Flick a puck to decide who starts the game.
2. Each player takes turns, with one flick per turn. For every turn, you can place your puck anywhere within your playing area to take a shot and try to knock down one or more of your opponent’s skittles.
3. Winning Skittles: If you successfully knock down one (or more) of your opponent’s skittles, you “capture” the skittles. Place your captured skittle at the very back of your playing area, behind your skittles.
4. Winning Back Captured Skittles: Each player has the opportunity to win back their captured skittles. During your turn if you knock down one of your captured skittles, without touching any of your opponent’s skittles, then you can claim it back and place it in your playing area. If you hit one of your opponent’s skittles first and then knock down one of your captured skittles, you capture their skittle but yours remains captured on their side of the playing area.
5. The player who successfully knocks down all their opponent’s skittles is the winner!
